Sometimes We Wait, and Sometimes Not

Earlier this week I reflected on feeling like we’re forced to wait, when maybe the ball is really in our court, and Jesus has indeed transformed us for action.

I chuckled reading this line from todays’s Gospel (Mk 1:40-45):

Moved with pity, he stretched out his hand,
touched the leper, and said to him,
“I do will it. Be made clean.”

A good reminder that it’s not all about us. Sometimes, Jesus takes over. And just makes it happen. Prayers answered.
